Ambika Prasad Tiwari is a Senior Technical Lead at EY GDS with over 8 years of experience in the development and implementation of web-based enterprise applications using the latest Java/J2EE cutting-edge technologies. He has hands-on experience in collections, multi-threading, exception handling, and good knowledge of OOPS concepts, design patterns, and JVM architecture. Ambika has designed and developed microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Flyway, and Spring Cloud, implementing the API gateway for different microservices using Zuul. He has also implemented OAuth2 with Spring Security and has hands-on experience in developing UI using Angular 4. Ambika has exposure to tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, Sonar, Maven, Mercurial, and GIT. He has exposure to SDLC and Agile methodology and has designed and implemented Restful web services. He has also designed and implemented the transformation of XML using XSLT 2.0. Ambika has experience working with Oracle and is proficient in writing SQL queries. He has exposure to Eureka - Service discovery, Hystrix – stopping cascading failures across multiple microservices, Ribbon – Load Balancing provided by Netflix. Prior to joining EY, Ambika worked as a Technical Lead at PwC and as a Senior Software Engineer at PwC. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University.
